Meditation Practice
Be still and know that I am God
Meditation Practice is centred around 4 tasks:
Find a comfortable and alert position in which you can rest for a period of time
- Silence is the great revelation (The Four Paths, p17, 33)
Consciously relax your body
Be open – with no expectation
Chose a meditation tool to focus the mind from the suggestions below.
When thoughts seek to claim your attention, note them then let them go.
"Distractions are like boats floating on the river of your consciousness…You are sitting on the bank and have a choice, you can either acknowledge their passing or you can hop on board and join the party. It is important to remember you are not your thoughts and you don’t need to be controlled by them.( The Four Paths, p68)
